Thursday, July 27, 2017 - OPTIONAL (ADDITIONAL TO CONVENTION PACKAGE)

 

  • 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - We will provide the transportation via coach bus to Canandaigua, NY. There you will be able to visit Sonnenberg Gardens Mansion State Historic Park. Tour the Historic Mansion & Gardens and check out the Wine Center & Gift Shop. Afterwards you can choose to stroll the sidewalks of Canangaigua where you will find various shops including Antique shops and great lunch possibilites, or perhaps you would like to cruise the Lake on the Canandaigua Lady. This trip is subject to be cancelled if we do not meet a minimum of 20 people signed on by June 30th. IF WE need to cancel you will receive a refund. $50/person for transportation only.
  • 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. -Meet 'n Greet - FRIGHT NIGHT! Help us set the mood for our Dragons, Witches and Magical Myths gallery with your scariest mask, t-shirt or face! Or just skip your make up and come as you REALLY are! Can You scare us?? Pizza/Salad bar and Cash bar. $15/person

    Friday, July 28, 2017- Daytime Activities:
  • 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Registration and Hot Buffet Breakfast

  • 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon. - Join us for a trip to Award winning Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards 1911 Distillery. Tasting includes 5 of your choice of artisanal Hard Cider, Wine, Vodka or Gin. They also have a gift Shop & Store for you to purchase "spirits" of your choice!

  • 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon - Join Martha Burch and make a Wizard Bottle Necklace. The small glass bottle will hold crystal pieces, a rolled paper scroll and a charm. You will be putting the pieces into the bottle, adding the bottom metal embellishment and gluing the cork into the bottle. Then you will wrap the chain with your choice of exquisite yarns and add a side clasp and multiple charms. Do you have some special small pieces that you wish to use, bring them along - it will make your piece that much more personal. Please sign up in advance and bring a small needle nose pliers. All other tools and supplies will be provided.


  • 12:00 noon - 1:30 p.m. -Buffet Lunch

  • 1:30 p.m. - 2:30pm - TBAI Pictionary - The more the merrier! Come compete for prizes and have fun with friends. It's sure to be a good time!

  • 2:30 p.m. - 3:30pm - Swap Op. Buy items that can be used as props or embellishments for your collection
  • Friday Evening - 5:00 pm. - A Dress Affair:
  • 5:00 pm. - 7:00 pm "DRAGONS, WITCHES & MAGICAL MYTHS" GALLERY AND RECEPTION & SHOW: Incredible ONE OF A KIND ARTISTRY judging, followed by a one hour artist show and sale exclusively for the Friday evening registered collectors and guests. Artist discount raffle. Cash bar.

  • 7:15 p.m. - ?? - TBAI 2017 Buffet Dinner, Raffle,Auction of Teddy 2017, and Presentation of the TBAI People's Choice Awards.
  • Saturday, July 29, 2017:
  • 8:00 a.m.- 9:30 a.m.- TBAI Hot Breakfast Buffet/2017 TOBY PUBLIC'S CHOICE AWARDS.

  • 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. TBAI 2017 Show and Sale open to the public.

  • 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Photo OP have your photo taken with your favorite bear and/or artists.

  • 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 TBAI Buffet Dinner
